My name is Oscar Lindberg and I’m a freelance producer/mixer based just outside Skövde, Sweden. I started my musical journey playing the guitar as a kid. I started off in music school but after about a year, I decided to quit. I started to learn by myself and from tabs and youtube videos, and that evolved into an obsession of practicing and learning more.
I’ve played in a number of metal bands and projects through the years and around 2010-2011, I started to realize that I enjoyed the recording part more than the actual playing. I then bought myself a cheap audio interface and a copy of Cubase and started messing around with that. Soon I was the “tech guy” in the band and handled all the audio and recording.
And by 2019 I decided to take my production skills to the next level, so I went to study Music Production for a year at Karlskoga Folkhögskola. I thought it would be a good idea to have an actual degree in this field.
So here I am, after more than a decade in the world of recording, producing and mixing music, in my own studio that I’ve built myself.
My DAW of choice is Logic Pro X on a Mac system. I’ve also got some experience in both Cubase and Pro Tools. I’m most comfortable with Metal & Rock/Pop music since that’s where I’m coming from, but I’m always open to work with any kind of music or anything audio related.
